At Brighton Music Center, every instrument we rent, sell, and repair has been inspected, professionally cleaned, and adjusted for optimal tone and ease of playability in our instrument repair shop. 

At Brighton Music Center, our repair staff are highly trained professionals with formal degrees from prestigious institutions such as Red Wing Music Repair and Renton Technical College. This strong foundation in instrument repair ensures that every instrument we rent or sell is inspected and adjusted for optimal tone and ease of playability. Our string workshop, headed by a professional violin maker who is an active member of both the Violin Society of America and the Guild of American Luthiers, further exemplifies our commitment to quality and craftsmanship, fostering confidence and trust among our customers.

Our Band Instrument Repair technicians are able to service all brass and woodwind instruments, and provide expert and cost effective service to our customers. Everywhere from student model to professional instruments, each one gets the same meticulous, quality work.

Services range from yearly maintenance to full cleanings, dent removal, re-pads, and more. For brass, we offer a wide variety of work including ultrasonic cleanings. Brighton Music Center is the only repair shop in the area to have an ultrasonic tank big enough to fit a tuba! Ultrasonic uses a mix of environmentally safe chemicals, heat, and vibration to provide the best clean possible!

At Brighton Music Center, we are committed to ongoing development and education. Our band repair technicians are proud members of NAPBIRT (National Association of Band Instrument Repair Technicians), enabling them to stay up to date with the latest techniques and innovations in the repair industry. This ensures that our community receives services that reflect the cutting edge of expertise and knowledge in instrument repair.

All repairs are conditionally guaranteed for a period of thirty days from the time of completion.

Our guitar repair department can provide a range of services from restringing your guitar, complete setups, electronics re-wiring, as well as wood repairs like broken necks and headstocks.
