The Custom Collection 50 Fralin version sounds and plays every bit as good as it looks. We worked with our good friend and amazing pickup maker Lindy Fralin to find just the right pickups and mod for this limited edition model. We use his Steel Poled 43 pickups which are hot, full, rich and dynamic. These pickups retain traditional style sounds but with the output of a classic P90. We've included our Phase Reverse Mod with an added push-pull feature that reverses the phase of both pickups together for an ultra-cool mid-range country/funk sound that will cut through any mix. The top is striped ebony with a 3-ply black pickguard. We make the Custom Collection 50 Fralins all as a short-run product. That means we offer them from time to time, always in a small quantity, meaning you are getting a hard to find limited run guitar at a very affordable price... Enjoy!

Seeking a lightweight guitar with traditional tone and performance? The Enlightened Classic 50 is the guitar for you. As part of the Enlightened collection, it features a number of design innovations all focused on delivering light-done-right. This includes the use of a special tone wood on the body — red cedar. We took that lightweight and great-sounding wood and then customized the body thickness and added small ports to further lighten the instrument while protecting tone. We even used aluminum instead of steel for the bridge and control plate to lighten things up further and to enhance tone. The pickups have been custom-voiced to perfectly match the Enlightened treatment. These deliver a a classic tone and, thanks to the Quad Mod electronics modification, you get 4 tone settings instead of the typical 3. At under 6 pounds, the Enlightened Classic 50 is a lightweight guitar, but with all of the other carefully considered design details, it is big on tone and performance.

Big tone and versatility are the calling card of the 53DB. With a double humbucker configuration, you start with a full array of classic tones often missing from a guitar of this style. We then added our custom electronics modification called the Great 8 allowing you to switch those humbuckers into a single-coil tone. This is done using two provided push-pull pots. Have fun with these eight distinctive tonal options! The body on the 53DB is made from alder and has a great looking flame maple top.
